Terminal Solution – Entrelec – SNK Terminal Blocks

When it comes to building an electrical control panel installation you need terminal blocks that are durable, quick and easy to install and ultimately reliable for electrical connections that you can really depend on. The SNK range of terminal blocks from TE Connectivity Entrelec has been designed with these considerations in mind. Featuring terminal blocks with innovative push-in spring terminals (PI-Spring), screw clamp and plug and play options, the SNK range is your perfect electrical installation partner when dependability, speed and connection versatility is key.

Push in and Spring Terminal Blocks – 2 in 1 technology

The SNK Push-in Spring (PI-Spring) range of industry-leading terminal blocks is suitable for either push-in or traditional spring terminal connection. The push-in model is estimated to be around 50% faster than regular screw clamp technology products, perfect for the one-step insertion of solid flexible standard wires fitted with a ferrule, just push the wire in to secure it.

Using the spring mode, the spring clamp is opened with a screwdriver allowing a ferrule-free cable to be inserted, withdrawing the screwdriver locks the wire in place. Also, to help with identifying your circuits, the Entrelec SNK PI-Spring terminal block range features an impressive 20% larger marking area plus an asymmetrical design for an immediate visual check in case of reversed terminal blocks.

PI-Spring Features:
  • Perfect connections with or without ferrules.
  • Connection capacity range from 0.2 mm2 to 25 mm2 (26AWG to 4AWG)
  • PI-Spring’s flat surface makes wire and screwdriver insertion easy
  • Linking bar designed for the lowest and most stable electrical contact value
  • Excellent vibration and shock resistance
  • Easy and safe insertion of both conductor and screwdriver
  • 5, 6, 8 mm spacing, mixing varying spacing possible
  • PI-Spring technology has passed ageing tests ensuring long-term contact quality
  • Pulling strength exceeds IEC standard requirements
  • Stainless steel PI-Spring offers high corrosion resistance – 1000 hours of salt mist
Potential Applications:
  • Industry and Commercial
  • Solar power installations
  • Railways
  • Hazardous locations
  • Marine and offshore
  • Waste and Water

If high-density capacity, reliability and safety are vital in your installation then the Entrelec SNK Screw Clamp heavy -duty terminal blocks are what you require. Designed to withstand vibration, shocks or excessive cable draw, the screw clamp technology within these heavy-duty terminal blocks provides you with the confidence you need.

The screw terminal ensures that when tightened the conductive bar applies no torsion to the cable, and two conductors can be installed per clamp, expanding your electrical circuitry possibilities further. You can stack up to ten blocks in position at one time with a quick and easy to use locking pin. The flat marking surface on each terminal block lets you use labels and cards for easy circuit identification.

Screw Clamp Terminal Block Features:
  • Punched clamp increases the number of screw threads by 30% – high torque resistance
  • Connecting capacity range of 0.2 mm2 to 120 mm2 (24AWG to 0000Kcmil)
  • Anti-release system – screw is locked in total safety, no retightening
  • 5, 6, 8 mm spacing, mixing varying spacing possible
  • Hardened steel connections
  • Built-in flap avoids the insertion of the cable underneath the clamp
Potential Applications:
  • Industry and Commercial
  • Solar power installations
  • Railways
  • Hazardous locations
  • Marine and offshore
  • Waste and Water
