What is the KCM AFDD?
The KCM AFDD is a next-generation Arc Fault Detection Device designed to enhance electrical safety, reduce fire risks, and help meet the ever-evolving demands of modern installations. With its intelligent features and seamless compatibility with existing distribution boards, it’s a game-changer for installers.

- 10kA rating across all variants, ensuring robust circuit protection.
- Multiple current ratings available: 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 32A, and 40A.
- Curve B & C tripping characteristics, allowing greater flexibility for diverse applications.
- Switched neutral design – boosting safety and reliability.
- Retrofit-ready compatibility with Memera 2000, AD & AM single-phase boards, and Memshield 2 TPN steel distribution boards.
- LED trip indication flags – quickly identify up to 8 specific fault types, including Arc Fault and RCBO, via color-coded indicators.
